I am beyond thrilled that you are here to learn more about the ministry God has opened up for me to campaign for, coordinate, and minister to Women in Recovery!

my testimony

For decades, I numbed deep disappointment, pain and grief by turning to a self-destructive, addictive lifestyle. In my pit of sin and lies, a friend invited me to attend Celebrate Recovery, where I experienced a tsunami of healing and transformation. My religious walk with God was slowly overshadowed and rebuilt into an intimacy with the source of everything I ever needed, and ever will need: Jesus.

This ministry began with me begging Celebrate Recovery sisters to join me for a mountain getaway to have more time for what ladies do best, chit-chatting! In a few years, it has grown into 9 Colorado retreats, which now require a retreat center to accommodate women from several additional states.

our purpose

God spoke clearly on the way home from the 4th or 5th retreat: “I want you to offer these regionally”. God is slowly unfolding what "regionally" means as I follow his lead into other states. Our purpose is to provide a safe, sacred space to experience true fellowship, encouragement and healing. This naturally happens as sisters in Christ speak the language of recovery through sharing, testimonies, devotions, prayer, and worship.

Is this ministry limited to Celebrate Recovery women only? Absolutely not. While I began by networking with over 70 CR programs in CO, WY, and NM, I expanded with invitations to women from 37 sober living homes and several other recovery programs. What started with retreats may grow to a national Women’s Christian Recovery Networking Ministry. The future is ripe with connections where women of all walks, ages, and backgrounds will be given opportunities to experience transformational healing and recovery.

the main point

Jesus leads; I follow. That is the simple, biblical model for this ministry. Where He shows up, I will join. What He whispers for me to share, I will proclaim. This ministry is only possible because I have surrendered and am learning to hear and follow. I used to hate how God made me “too much”; now I’m exhilarated by how He’s using me and blessing my gifts. Women are given a place and space to let down their guards to trust other women who are also healing from their own hurts, hang-ups, and habits. They are all part of the healing process described in scripture.

Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may BE HEALED. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

Let us not neglect our meeting together … but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.‍
— James 5:16, Hebrews 10:25

God is in the business of restoring.

Will you join me in his gracious calling?
